Robyn Meredith joins Blomberg.

ROBYN MEREDITH JOINS BLOOMBERG TV AS HONG KONG-BASED CORRESPONDENT

Network continues to boost television staff in Asia-Pacific

New York, January 12, 2011-Bloomberg Television, the world 24-hour business and financial news network, today announced that best-selling author and journalist, Robyn Meredith, has joined the network as a Hong Kong-based correspondent.

Meredith, who has a ten of experience reporting on Asia and world economic trends, will handle business and financial news for Bloomberg Television across the Asia-Pacific region.She is the author of the 2007 New York Times best-seller, "The Elephant and the Dragon: The Rising of India and China and What It Means for All of Us." "Robyn is a gifted and experienced journalist who can give our viewers insightful perspectives on current world economic news," said Brian Martinez, International Managing Director, Bloomberg Television. "She will be a valuable accession to our growing team in Hong Kong as we stay our investment in the region."

Meredith brings her knowledge of economics, global finance, Asian markets and foreign policy.Prior to joining Bloomberg Television, Meredith served as Senior Editor, Asia for Forbes, also based in Hong Kong.She joined Forbes in April 2000 as the magazine`s Detroit Bureau Chief and affected to Hong Kong in 2001. Previously, Meredith spent 5 years covering Detroit for The New York Times, and she has likewise written for USA Today and American Banker. She received a B.A. cum laude, in English Literature from Boston University and exhausted the 1998-1999 academic year as a Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Chicago Business School.
