Surprise eliminations on 'Dancing With the Stars' aren't unusual. And, then, there are weeks in which the obvious contestant gets the boot. That's what happened last night when Wendy Williams, who'd scored a mere 15 points in Week Three, was sent packing.

The talk show diva was the beginning to accept that she's not a dancer, and her Foxtrot on Monday night proved her point.

She earned a mere 15 points, down two points from her Week Two routine.

Williams and her pro partner, Tony Dovolani, spoke to reporters on the post-show press line. TV Squad was on the setting to get the scoop directly from the duo about their thoughts and feelings about being eliminated and their plans for the future.

"[I'm] relieved," Williams exclaimed over her departure. "I'm getting on a jet plane and going back to everything that's good and honey to me that I've neglected personally for this six-week journey. I make a 10-year-old son and any parent knows that 5th grade and being 10 is a baby on the brink! I get a 12-year marriage and a talk show that demands my attention, too."

Asked what she'll miss about being on the show, Williams cracked, "Craft services!"

And what will she miss about Dovolani? Williams took a long beat before answering: "Umm . there are a bit of things I'll miss about Tony including him asking me to bear [up] straight as I approach osteoporosis."

For Dovolani, leaving the competition means ending a grueling commuting schedule. There were, however, benefits for the Connecticut-based dance pro to travel back and forward between coasts each week with Williams.

"I got to see my family each week and rest in my own bed," he says. "That was a humongous positive."

Next, Dovolani will sharpen his efforts on development and producing a plan for the Golf Channel. "My teachers are stressful to aid me hit the globe as near to a professional," he says. "My handicap is 8 and I'm trying to get to zero. I had a big breakthrough and hit a ball 300 yards. We're filming the point in a few months. It'll probably air in the fall."

And he'll be backward to do on the results show each week, too? "Absolutely," he says. "I know our show."

Williams will be lost by her former castmates.

"We've definitely lost a trooper," says Romeo. "I've been doing Wendy's [radio] show since I was 11 years old. She took my favorite hat from me once and said, 'You're signing this for my little boy.' I was like, 'Damn! That was my favorite hat!' But she was playing my music so I didn't mind."

"Wendy has a bigger-than-life personality," says Anna Trebunskaya. "She and I would sit adjacent to each other when we had our hair done for the show. She takes all of you in. When she hugs you it's so genuine."

Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy skipped out on role of the press line, but the Ukrainian pro dancer is expected back next week despite experiencing a cramp in his leg on Monday's performance show, which sent the couple tumbling to the dance floor before they went on to create a valiant comeback.

Mark Ballas scoffed at on-line speculation that his dad, Corky Ballas, would be taking over for Chmerkovskiy as Alley's partner.

"Yeah, right," Ballas says. "My dad's a great teacher. He makes it fun, but I think Maks is doing a big job. He's fine. His leg is okay. Let's put a point on that."

'Dancing With the Stars' airs Mondays at 8PM ET and Tuesdays at 9PM ET on ABC.
